This was Sal Sgroi’s idea when he started Tour Mates with his wife Ronnie over 27 years ago. Located in the Kings Mall, the business like its location is based on long standing and developing individual and corporate relationships. Qualified and experienced, Sal (owner), Kathleen Nord (operations manager) and travel consultant Brenda Unson respond to all questions and concerns with a “Been there-Done that” confidence and depth of experience.
Sal is the recognized cruise expert having sailed on over 95 cruises though out the world: from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean and the Greek Isles, Sal has seen and done it all. In particular, Sal has the travel-in-Italy expertise to make you feel like relaxed and comfortable while you travel throughout this beautiful and romantic country. He arranges personalized itineraries for families and small group travel and has a unique talent in honeymoon specialization. His wealth of knowledge about hotels, people and cultures is renowned.
Kathleen, with training at American Airlines and extensive travel agency work in management of corporate accounts (IBM, Rotron, Phoenix, Cables, Semifilms and more, joined Tour Mates in 1991 as general manager and to service corporate clients. Kathleen has traveled extensively throughout all of Europe, the Caribbean and Bahamas. In addition, she has enjoyed travel across the United States and its National Parks system and shares that unique base of knowledge with those seeking this special travel adventure.
